7/8/2018 ~ HELP Part 1 ~ "Helps?"

We all want to do great things for God, but secretly we wonder if He wants to do great things through us. Without a doubt I know God wants to do great things in and through every one of His children, however many of us have failed to see what great is in the eyes of God. Welcome to our new series called HELP, where we will examine closely an often overlooked ministry listed right alongside Prophets and Pastors and other great callings in the Bible, the ministry of helps. "HELP" will help us see how to live a life of significance in the eyes of God.  ~ Pastor John

6/17/2018 ~ Happy - Part 3 ~ If Jesus would have titled the sermon on the mount, I believe He may have called it, "If you want to be happy do this...!"  Jesus must obviously see happiness in a totally different way than we do.  Thanks for joining me as we unlock the beatitudes secret to be happy according to Jesus.  ~Pastor John

6/10/2018 ~ Happy - Part 2 ~ Jesus said, "Happy are those who mourn."  Jesus must see happiness in a totally different way than we do. What is it about mourning that could possibly make us happy?  Thanks for joining me as we discover a new secret on this journey to be happy according to Jesus.  ~Pastor John

6/3/2018 ~ Happy - Part 1 ~ Jesus said "Happy are the poor."  Did Jesus lie? How could he say happy are the poor? Has being poor in spirit or in finances or anything we desire ever made anyone happy? I believe Jesus knew some secrets we have long since forgotten that are the keys to unlocking true happiness. This week we will begin to discover why happiness is so elusive. Thanks for joining me on this journey to discover how to be happy according to Jesus.  ~Pastor John

5/27/2018 ~ Living Stones ~ Our calendar tells us this is Memorial Day weekend. This Monday is the day we, as a country, have set aside to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. As I reflected about memorials in the Bible, I was reminded of what God uses them for. So thanks for joining us today as we all discover what it means to be living stones.  ~Pastor John

5/20/2018 ~ Pentacost - Empowered By God ~ Have you ever felt overwhelmed by feelings that you are powerless? Of course you have, it's a human condition. Newborn babies are powerless to walk, toddlers are powerless to read, and none of us are immune to being powerless in some given situations. As the calendar turns today to the day of Pentecost we will discover that powerlessness places us in the perfect position to be empowered by God. What a wonderful place to be.  ~Pastor John

5/13/2018 ~ Our minds are bombarded with constant chatter. I can't... I won't... I'm not... I'll never... fuel the inner conversations of insecurity, fear and condemnation that discourage us and leave us feeling helpless and overwhelmed. We spend our time wishing we could stop the chatter, but in this final week of this series we will learn the chatter never really stops, that is why we must learn to crash the chatterbox.

5/6/2018 ~ Our minds are bombarded with constant chatter. I can’t… I won’t… I’m not… I’ll never… fuel the inner conversations of insecurity, fear and condemnation that discourage us and leave us feeling helpless and overwhelmed. If we are not careful we will allow discouragement to take us down, destroy our hope, and even take our lives. If you’ve ever been, are in, or may face in the future a season of discouragement today we will learn the secret to overcoming discouragement.

4/29/2018 ~ Our minds are bombarded with constant chatter. I can’t… I won’t… I’m not… I’ll never… fuel the inner conversations of insecurity, fear and condemnation that discourage us and leave us feeling helpless and overwhelmed. Where does all this self destructive inner talk come from? Today we will take a look at where the chatterbox within gets its fuel. Along the way we will discover the power to overcome through the words of Jesus.

4/22/2018 ~ The Chatterbox is the voices within that tell you, you are anything less than what God created you to be. This week we are going to learn a powerful way to confront our doubts and fears and overcome the worry that can paralyze us from taking the next step in our journey. I’m so glad you have joined us as we discover how in the midst of all of our “What if’s” God says “He will…”

4/15/2018 ~ The chatterbox in our mind likes to fill us with thoughts of self-doubt, fear, and insecurity. It's easy to confuse our fears, mistakes, and sins with who we are; we let our imperfections define us. Things we've done gain power over us by telling ourselves "this is who I am."

Pastor Johns leads us deeper into God's word to help us discover when our own inner voice says "I am not", we can say that God says "I Am ... In Christ."

4/8/2018 ~ Our minds are bombarded with constant chatter. I can't... I won't... I'm not... I'll never... fuel the inner conversations of insecurity, fear and condemnation that discourage us and leave us feeling helpless and overwhelmed. Pastor John shares with us that it is not by ignoring that inner voice that we overcome, but by confronting everything it says "I am not" with everything "God says I am".

4/1/2018 ~ It's Easter Sunday! The day when we, who are followers of Jesus Christ, celebrate His resurrection from the grave. Easter means hope for every person. No matter what weighs us down, no matter how far we fall, no matter how broken we may be, the resurrection reminds us we are never beyond hope. Today we look anew at the empty tomb to discover how "Easter Changes Everything!"

3/25/2018 ~ Today is what is commonly known as "Palm Sunday" on the Christian calendar. Maybe you've heard of it before and maybe it's new to you, but either way, today we will take a fresh look at how we see this day by seeing the words of Jesus fresh and new. Hopefully we will look at this day on the calendar in a different way than possibly we have ever seen it before or again.

3/11/2018 ~ As we continue through the fifth part of our series called "The Circle Maker," we learn that if we want to dream big and pray hard it is going to require us to "Think Long." Too often we toss up high speed prayers expecting microwaved results, and walk away disappointed because God didn't move at the speed of our life. Today we will take some prayer lessons from the prophet Daniel and, along the way, discover our breakthrough has to get through what is see-through. If we don't learn to think long when we pray, most often we will pull up short of our miracle.

3/4/2018 ~ Pastor John leads us through the fourth part of our series called "The Circle Maker."

2/25/2018 ~ In the third part of our series called "The Circle Maker," we learn that chasing big dreams requires big risks. So buckle up, draw your circle and dream big.

2/18/2018 ~ As we continue our series called "The Circle Maker," we learn what it means to draw the circle from Honi the circle maker, Moses the leader of Israel, and Jesus. If through prayer we are going to face our biggest dreams and greatest fears, and come out victorious, we must learn what it really means to "Draw the Circle."

2/11/2018 ~ In our new series we will learn to dream big, think long, and pray hard as we confront our biggest dreams and greatest fears in a circle of prayer.  Pastor John invites us to begin a lifelong adventure of "Becoming Circle Makers."

2/4/2018 ~ Have you ever met anyone who said to you, "I know I spend too much time praying?" Yeah, me neither! The truth is most of us feel guilty because we know prayer should be a priority, but somehow it takes a back seat. In this message, Pastor John dives into the controversial question: "Why Pray?" and in the midst of that tension, helps us discover "The Purpose of Prayer."

1/28/2018 ~ In the fourth and final part of our January series: RESET, Pastor John reveals the dirty little secret that is the catalyst for sending us down the path that makes "Reset" necessary...

When God gets our First, the rest is blessed!
